SharePoint Admin - Fixed Term

About You

In this technical and diverse role, you will maintain existing on premise SharePoint 2016 applications as well as gain experience in creating and implementing new solutions using SharePoint cloud services.

 

You will be responsible for ensuring that our systems are efficiently built and maintained through expert analysis of customer needs. There will be a mix of commercial off-the-shelf systems (COTS) and backend infrastructure solutions such as Microsoft technologies, virtualisation infrastructure and databases.

 

To succeed in this role you will be able to actively contribute to the design and delivery of ICT infrastructure and COTS systems. Your analytical skills will be utilised in understanding your stakeholder requirements and identifying where there are opportunities for improvement.

 

Ideally you will have a Systems Engineer background or have worked very closely with a similar team. You will have the knowledge, personality and communication skills to rapidly gain credibility and develop key relationships at all levels. You will be able to influence others through your business acumen and professional approach.

 

Skills and Experience

  • 2+ years’ experience with SharePoint on-prem 2016.
  • 2+ years’ working directly with business/customers to understand business needs and applying technology solutions to those requirements.
  • Understanding of change management processes
  • Familiar with risk management processes
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
