About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a customer focused individual to lead and implement project-based work. This work will include resolving complex technical issues, interacting with others across the entire business and ensuring that our ICT applications and services are running reliably in a globally focused team.

 

This is a critical role with possibilities to add value to our business and to promote a professional service culture across ICT globally. Our dynamic global environment will keep you facing new challenges by adopting and facilitating the transition of new technologies and environments into operation and keeping things running. This role will focus on providing world class solutions to our product design, manufacturing and quality departments with the prospect of pursuing further opportunities across the entire organization.

 

On a day-to-day basis you will be working on the development and optimization of configurable off the shelf (COTS) software applications, balancing improvement project work and be responsible for providing real time assurance that business applications are working correctly. You'll have the opportunity to make the most of your incident and problem management skills and your eye for improvement to identify gaps and changing needs around capacity and performance.

 

About You

  • Able to create a clear understanding of impact of ICT on business applications and the interdependencies of the ICT systems around them

  • Excellent proven communication and people skills

  • Customer service focused

  • Intermediate Project management skills

  • Strong planning and reporting capabilities

  • Commercial Acumen

 

Let’s talk about your capability and experience 

  • 5+ years experience with engineering/manufacturing facing Microsoft based technologies in a large business environment

  • Moderate knowledge of Linux operating systems

  • Appreciation of backup & recovery strategies, infrastructure and data centres

  • A security mindset that applies to any of your designs and implementations

  • Bachelor of Information Systems, Computer Science, Mechatronics or similar fields

  • ITIL or Microsoft certifications an advantage
