Supply Chain Engineer
About the role
Our Supply Chain Engineering team supports the business across the full spectrum, from raw material through to delivery to our international customers.
As a key member of our Supply Chain Engineering team, you will be dedicated to plan and implement approved changes across the global supply chain within our manufacturing facilities and distribution centres. Ensuring our requirements are met and continuously improving from a quality, cost and risk perspective.
The team is made up of experienced supply chain professionals who will provide the necessary training and support.
About you
Excellent communication skills are a must as you will be involved in interactions with different teams from across the business, balancing competing requirements and communicating a variety of supply chain concepts. You must have had exposure to the concepts of process validation, supplier part approval & design transfer / design controls. You will be working on improving a supply chain which includes a complex manufacturing component.
You could describe yourself as:
- An excellent communicator with the ability to influence and mentor others
- Qualified in either mechanical engineering or electromechanical engineering.
- Having strong analytical and problem solving abilities
- Results oriented with the ability to remove obstacles in order to meet deadlines
- A team player keen to be part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Having solid written communication skills
- Creative, innovative and well organized
