About the role

Being responsible for outsourced production processes with external suppliers, you will have the opportunity to minimise health & business risks through continuous improvement activities using risk management, statistical analysis and problem solving skills. Your expertise in manufacturing and process control will ensure suppliers' processes are capable of consistently producing components to specification. In addition your ability to evaluate product specifications and to assist suppliers to implement appropriate production and process controls will achieve this. On top of that your commercial awareness will benefit both our suppliers and the business.


What we are seeking

  • Engineering or relevant tertiary degree.
  • 3 years' experience in a supplier quality or quality systems engineer role within the medical device industry
  • Sound skills in applying statistical methods in determining and developing process capability with Cpk, Lean Six Sigma or CQE certification.
  • Experience with or have completed Lead Auditor training to ISO13485, or certification as a Quality Auditor (i.e. ASQ CQA, CBA)
  • Good understanding of FDA and international regulations
  • Strong communication skills in both written and verbal English
  • Your interpersonal skills & confident personality will help in the influencing and negotiation aspects of this role.
