About The Role
Our strong focus on research and development creates a regular flow of new Fisher & Paykel Healthcare products. To enable our ongoing success, we depend on the technical expertise of our Design Assurance team who ensure our products get to market as fast as possible while meeting customer, business and international regulatory requirements.
Non Invasive Ventilation Team is set to be a strong long-term focus for FPH, and with a vast range of new and existing NIV products, it’s an exciting area to be a part of.
In this role supporting our NIV Team, you will act as a technical subject matter expert in engineering and quality systems to drive quality improvements. You will provide training, development and expert advice to support the achievement of the Respiratory Humidification (RH) product group’s business plan and ensure compliance to the QMS and regulatory requirements, improving our ability to meet market expectations.
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- 5+ years related experience in the medical device industry, ideally with experience across multiple roles.
- A tertiary degree in Science or Engineering.
- Comprehensive knowledge of medical device processes and relevant industry standards.
- Technical specialist knowledge of FPH products and business.
- A holistic approach to product development.
You will also have:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence, negotiate and challenge with respect and diplomacy.
- A curious and inquisitive nature and a continuous improvement mindset.
- An ability to build relationships at all levels within the organization.
Depending on the experience of the candidate, we have the flexibility to consider candidates at the Quality Systems Engineer level as well as Senior Quality Systems Engineer level.
