Senior Project Manager (Product Group Operations )

This is a hands-on project management role. You will liaise with internal stakeholders and customers whilst staying in control of the project scope to ensure the timely delivery of projects across the F&P product group space. 

As a Project Manager within the Product Group Operations team your projects can cover different areas and teams across the full scope of our patient focused product development teams within the Product Group domain. Projects can be scoped around deliverables connected with meeting different regulatory requirements where a level of coordinated project management support is required across all product groups. The role will also contribute towards supporting Product Group activities on the adoption of future carbon reduction initiatives & projects. Working within a supportive and passionate Product Group Operations management team, you will be responsible for all aspects of the project management lifecycle including, initiation and maintenance of project plans and project reporting. You will work closely with stakeholders, manage project risks, issues, decisions and milestones. Furthermore, having a strong desire to collect, analyse and process information will be necessary as we work towards improving visibility of data. This role could suit someone who has experienced project management as part of a project team and wishes to take the next step into a formal project management role.

The role is advertised as a Senior Project Manager role but we will consider candidates with the right attributes at the Project Manager level.

 

Skills and experience

  • Proven project delivery success
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with MS Project, SmartSheet or equivalent tools
  • Experience in gathering and processing data for analysis
  • Commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Experience in product development and/or manufacturing operations
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (PMP/Prince2) is an advantage.
