About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Production Planner to join our Global Supply Planning Team. We are very proud of our success to date. Our strategy is designed to ensure that the right product is available at the right place and time while minimizing costs and risks associated with the supply chain and overall business outcome.

 

In this critical planning role, you will be accountable for developing, presenting, and executing the Sales & Operations Planning process for a product family with the focus on new product introductions. You will coordinate the supply chain activities needed to meet global customer demand and ensure availability of inventory to ensure we achieve a high customer service level. We expect you to be motivated by improving processes, able to resolve conflicting priorities collaboratively, and be someone that wants to use your experience to stamp your footprint on our supply chain strategy and growth.

 

Working as part of a close-knit team it is expected that you will be highly self-motivated and able to juggle multiple priorities. On a daily basis you will be liaising with groups from across the business, including Production team leaders through to Sales and Marketing. The ability to understand your customer and having finely tuned communication and relationship building skills is absolutely critical.

 

Skills and Experience

  • Five to seven years'+ experience planning role in a high-volume manufacturing environment is essential.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification or CPIM is preferable.
  • Not only do you have effective influencing skills, you possess tactical negotiation skills and are results orientated.
  • You have the ability to use your initiative and solve problems.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills is essential in this role.
  • Experience using software such as SAP would be beneficial.
