Senior Production Manager
About The Role
As a Senior Production Manager, you will provide senior operational leadership across multiple manufacturing lines and/or shifts, focused on stabilising and improving new lines in a highly regulated environment.
You will:
- Lead, coach, and develop large production teams, to build capability, engagement, and performance
- Drive a strong culture of continuous improvement to improve flow of new production lines
- Develop and implement workforce plans covering resourcing, capability development, and succession
- Ensure safe delivery of production targets in full, on time, and in specification (SDIFOTIS)
- Use data, metrics, and insights to guide decision-making and improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage production impacts, change, and supply chain challenges
- Build strong relationships in a complex manufacturing environment
About You
You’re a confident and values led manufacturing leader who thrives in scale, complexity, and change. You balance operational excellence with people leadership and bring a strong understanding of delivering in regulated environments.
You’ll bring:
- Extensive leadership experience within manufacturing or operations environments
- Strong knowledge of GMP and Lean methodologies, with medical devices experience preferred
- Experience working within highly regulated quality management systems (e.g. FDA, MDR, TGA)
- Sound understanding of production planning, product life-cycle management, and supply chain impacts
- Strong commercial and financial acumen to support operational decisions
- Proven ability to influence, coach, and develop leaders and teams
- Excellent communication, judgement, and problem-solving skills
- A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to drive change
