About The Role 

 

We are a dynamic and innovative team within the OSA Mask group, dedicated to ensuring the sustained supply and market access of our cutting-edge OSA mask products. Our purpose is to ensure continued delivery of quality masks to patients that enable great sleep.  

 

As a Senior Product Development Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving product excellence and compliance. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, suppliers, marketing, clinical, post-market surveillance, and regulatory affairs. This role offers a great opportunity to gain exposure to many parts of our business, and to learn what it takes to sustain medical devices in a highly regulated and competitive environment. Your work will directly impact patients’ lives, and your ability to navigate the complexities of medical device development will be crucial to success. 

 

Key responsibilities of the role include: 

 

  • Implementing design solutions 

  • Technical documentation ownership 

  • Metrology and testing system development 

  • Post-market surveillance and complaints investigation 

  • Continuous process improvement 

  

   

Skills & Experience 

  

You have an Engineering degree majoring in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Biomedical or related field.  You have excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, proficiency in technical writing, and a passion for innovation. 

 

We are looking for applicants with at least 5 years of experience in a relevant role with a broad range of skills covering: 

 

  • Medical device design and regulations; or an ability to understand these aspects quickly  

  • Quality management system 

  • Design change control 

  • Product verification and validation 

  • Technical documentation for audit readiness 

  • Plastics, prototyping and manufacturing methods
