About the opportunity
Due to continued growth and success, we have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our New Zealand Sales Team as a Sales Representative (internal job title: Product Specialist), supporting our Respiratory & Acute Care (RAC) product portfolio.
This is a dynamic and highly collaborative role, partnering with a broad range of healthcare professionals across the hospital environment to champion Fisher & Paykel Healthcare’s innovative respiratory support solutions. The RAC portfolio spans multiple acute and sub-acute care settings, including the emergency department, intensive care unit, paediatrics, and general and medical wards.
In this role, you will play a key part in driving market development by identifying growth opportunities, building strong clinical relationships, and delivering targeted education to stakeholders. Your efforts will directly contribute to expanding adoption of our solutions and, most importantly, enhancing patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with medical, nursing & physiotherapy healthcare professionals to promote the FPH brand and therapy solutions.
- Develop and execute territory plans to maximise market impact and sales growth.
- Educate clinicians and customers on the benefits of FPH products and therapy approaches to create demand and change clinical practice.
- Manage procurement and adoption process for agreements with homecare dealers to ensure FPH products are stocked and promoted effectively.
- Support marketing activities and user groups to raise awareness and adoption of our sleep therapy solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure optimal product usage and customer satisfaction, and support development of new therapy innovation.
This role is based at our Global Head Office in East Tamaki, Auckland but covers a territory that requires significant national travel.
About You
In order to succeed you will need to be a curious, persistent and collaborative person and have a positive outlook. Other key skills and attributes we are looking for include:
- Ability to build strong relationships and a natural people person who values great customer service.
- Experience as a healthcare worker or previous roles in sales role would be advantageous but not essential.
- Outcome-focused, self-motivated, and proactive with a strong drive to succeed and make a difference.
- Able to recognise opportunities and make the most of them, showing initiative and a willingness to explore new ideas.
- Articulate and engaging presentation skills with a proven ability to learn and apply complex concepts and communicate these to a variety of audiences.
- Able to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment, comfortable seeking guidance or assistance when faced with challenges.
