Registered Nurse - Occupational Health

The Role

 

This is a hands-on position with lots of variety. Your day-to-day activities range from conducting health risk assessments, administering immunisations to coordinating and monitoring rehabilitation and safe return to work programmes, and providing hands-on injury and illness triage services.

The role supports our people from Mon-Fri where regular hours accommodate both you and our people (no weekend, night or split shifts!). About You

 

We are looking for a Registered Nurse with the following skills and experience:

  • Recent experience in accident and medical triage environments (minimum 2 to 3 years)
  • Current nursing APC registration with a current practicing certificate is a must have.
  • Proven record of Injury and Rehabilitation Management
  • Certificate in either Ergonomics, Occupational Health or Industrial hygiene preferred
  • Current Accredited Vaccinators Certificate preferred
  • Able to foster a supportive & caring environment to assist our people to return to work
  • Exceptional customer service mentality and ability to provide service and support to our people
  • Excellent interpersonal communication (written, verbal, listening) and relationship building skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to manage changing requirements
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Microsoft office and general computer skills
  • Knowledge of MedTech32 is preferred

 

Based in Highbrook, East Tamaki, the role is part of the wider Health, Safety & Wellbeing team, which includes an Occupational Health Physician, Occupational Health Advisor, Psychologist and Physiotherapist. You will be involved in providing a range of Healthcare Services to a diverse group of 4000+ people on-site; working in manufacturing, warehousing, engineering, research & development and office-based environments.
