About the opportunity
The Quality Manager – Audit is responsible for leading, managing and continuously improving the Quality Systems audit program. This role leads the audit programme for the New Zealand campus and supports other F&P locations as required. We are looking for an exceptional leader with a strategic focus and a confident communicator who loves interacting with regulators and mentoring and coaching internal customers.
You will lead a risk-based audit programme, work closely with internal stakeholders and external auditors, and use audit insights to support corrective action, Management Review and wider QMS improvement.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead and continually improve the Quality Systems audit programme.
- Develop and maintain a risk-based audit plan that reflects regulatory, business and QMS priorities.
- Coordinate and support internal audits, external audits and regulatory inspections.
- Ensure audit findings, actions and follow-up activities are clearly documented, monitored and progressed.
- Analyse audit performance and trends and provide meaningful input into CAPA, Management Review and QMS improvement.
- Build audit capability across the business through training, coaching and practical guidance.
- Develop strong relationships with stakeholders across F&P and communicate confidently with auditors and regulators.
- Lead, coach and support the people contributing to audit programme delivery.
About you
- A strategic and systems-focused thinker who can identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
- A clear and confident communicator who builds trusted relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Strong leadership, coaching and influencing capability.
- Significant audit experience, ideally within medical devices or another highly regulated industry.
- Sound knowledge of Quality Management Systems and risk-based auditing principles.
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or a related discipline.
