About the opportunity

As a Quality Engineer - Design you will be working closely with Product Development teams in our Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) business to contribute to market acceptance of newly developed products. Using your technical and quality expertise you will ensure the design of good quality products and successful commercialization. Having a positive, practical attitude and willingness to collaborate are critical.

Your responsibilities include leading activities related to the use of design controls and managing the implementation of our Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure quality is effectively and efficiently incorporated into the product design. You may also be involved in identifying and supporting QMS improvements.

You will have the opportunity to develop your career by learning about or specializing in: Statistical analysis, Mechanical/Electrical/Software design best practices, Usability/Human Factors, Biocompatibility, Verification/Validation/Reliability Testing, and various other International Standards & Regulations.

About you

• Science or engineering tertiary degree with a minimum 2 years work experience
• Quality/Science/Engineering/Development experience within a technical or regulated industry
• Excellent influencing and negotiation skills
• Ability to build strong relationships at all levels within the organisation
• Good understanding of Risk Management (e.g. ISO 14971)
