Quality Controller

  • Day shift – 07:30am to 16:00pm
  • Wednesday to Sunday shift
  • Permanent role

 

About the role:

The Quality Controller role is about performing quality inspections and completing other activities as required in order to release our products for distribution. As a quality controller, you will be making sure that our finished goods meet external and internal standards. Your days will be varied as you complete sample checks, monitor product release quantities, check waste product records and much more. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent science or engineering graduate or somebody looking to progress in the quality, regulatory or engineering space.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing quality inspections and completing other activities to release our products for distribution
  • Ensure that our finished goods meet the internal and external standards
  • Complete standard checks
  • Monitor product release quantities
  • Initiate non-conforming reports when applicable
  • Check and maintain waste product records

 

Skills and experience:

  • Great communication skills, written and verbal
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, initiative and positive can-do attitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Understanding of manufacturing process and an appreciation of quality control
  • Previous experience in quality is advantageous
  • Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree is preferred
