Product Manager - Market Access

While this job falls within the Product Manager job family within our organisation, the job title more suited to this role would be:  Market Access Support.  The role sits within the Market Access team in one of our largest product groups – Airvo/Optiflow.  This product group is responsible for an extensive product portfolio of innovative, market leading medical devices and is continuously looking to develop new and improved products and take these to market.  The Market Access team is key to gaining and maintaining market access through product labelling, ensuring products are compliant and meet regulatory and quality standards.

In this role you’ll require an in-depth understanding of our internal Quality Management System and a willingness to write and collaborate on documents to ensure we can release products quickly, while also meeting the requirements of a highly regulated medical device industry.

The role will suit someone with a regulatory, quality or compliance background, that likes documentation, collaborating with stakeholders from all over the business and can manage multiple projects, which they can drive forward and through to completion.

While the role does require some level of project management, it is more "MS Word" than "MS Project". What is vital, is a solid work ethic and no hesitation to get stuck in to get the job done.

In return you’ll be working in a supportive team, where you’ll get to manage multiple projects, that you’ll see all the way through from start to finish.  You’ll have autonomy and flexibility and have the opportunity to develop your career within one of New Zealand’s top companies.

What you can expect to be doing in this role:

  • Executing the creation and release of product labelling, including user instructions to meet product and regulatory needs.
  • Filtering and coordinating the flow of information between design, manufacturing, regulatory, quality, legal, sales, and marketing across multiple product groups
  • Planning and execution of product releases
  • Identifying and undertaking opportunities for continuous improvement activities enhancing team effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Managing multiple labelling projects across the Optiflow Airvo portfolio

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience with Quality Systems in a regulated industry
  • A passion for learning and sharing knowledge
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in order to negotiate with a broad range of stakeholders
  • The ability to take ownership of a project or process and manage it to meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • The ability to work both independently and in a close-knit team
  • A growth mind-set, positive attitude and willingness to do things that no one has done before
  • Experience with professional software packages such as Adobe design suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier Pro, etc.), preferred but not required
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding organisation and prioritisation capabilities
