Our focus here in the Optiflow and Airvo marketing team is to help our international sales people change clinical practice to allow patients with acute respiratory conditions to be treated with respiratory support (e.g. Nasal High Flow) in all areas of the hospital, from the ED, ICU and the ward. Our team is responsible for both upstream and downstream market support for the current products (e.g. Optiflow interfaces and Airvo 2) and upcoming products. 


We have a newly created opportunity for a commercially minded product management professional to join our team as a Product Manager – Connectivity


About the Role

Reporting into the Marketing Manager, this role will be tasked with the responsibility of managing the commercial relationships with our external partners.


You’ll ensure that terms of our commercial agreements are operationalised and collaborate with our external partners to further develop relationships. To ensure this success a key part of this role will be travelling to our partners in Asia, Europe and the America’s as well as hosting them during visits to New Zealand!


Our ideal candidate will be familiar with reviewing and applying commercial terms, an expert at multitasking and forward planning with the ability to engage with external stakeholders, ensuring continued success all whilst safeguarding our values, IP and brand.


To hit the ground running, you will have:

  • a passion for helping improve the outcomes of patients
  • a marketing, business, clinical, engineering or legal qualification and 4 years + experience in a similar commercial or key account role
  • ability to understand and interpret commercial agreements and clinical publications
  • excellent interpersonal skills in order to engage with a broad range of stakeholders
  • the ability to take ownership of a project or process and manage it to meet deadlines
  • strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • an ability to travel regularly
