Product Development Engineer

About The Role

We are looking for individuals who approach problem solving with passion, curiosity and creativity. You will collaborate well within our team and across functions (e.g. clinical, marketing, sales, process, operations, regulatory). You enjoy digging into problems to understand the root cause, have a keen attention to detail, enjoy hands on prototyping and seeing a project through to the finish

 

Skills & Experience

You have an Engineering degree or similar. We are looking for applicants with 3+ years relevant experience that have a broad skill set covering some of the following:

 

  • New product development 
  • Experience in the front and/or tail end of product development projects 
  • CAD, CAM, CFD 
  • Understanding of plastics, prototyping and manufacturing methods 
  • Fluid dynamics 
  • Product verification and validation 
  • Medical Device Regulatory compliance 
  • Understanding of working within an ISO 13485 Quality Management System

This is a full-time, permanent position (40 hour week) with a salary range of $85,000 - $92,000 The role is based in our Auckland office in Highbrook Drive in East Tamaki
