About the opportunity
As part of Process Development, you will join our team of 100 Engineers with varying skills and expertise. Through collaboration and ingenuity, we design and implement the process solutions and manufacturing lines that bring our products to life. Our Engineers, work alongside other mechanical, moulding and control engineers to develop and implement purpose-built manufacturing solutions.
As a Process Development Engineer some of the tasks your role may include are:
- Collaboration with product development teams and providing perspective on process capability to help influence product design using design for manufacture principles.
- Engaging with operations engineers and production stakeholders to refine process requirements & designs for the best long-term outcomes.
- Design, prototype, test and commission assembly and test processes. Collaborate with other Process Development Engineers to develop processes that are aligned to business growth intent, helping them understand not only proper process design but also how their work fits into the bigger picture.
- Support Process Design by developing comprehensive QMS Documentation that captures equipment performance, teaches operating and technical intent and ensures quality outcomes through our risk management systems.
As part of the Fisher & Paykel Healthcare Team you’ll be based in our expansive campus in Highbrook, East Tamaki. On site, you’ll have access to park-like grounds, in-house subsidised cafeterias, ample carparks, spacious work areas and state of the art lab facilities. Grow your engineering skills through our in-house prototyping labs using water jet cutters, CNC mills, CNC lathes, 3D printers, laser cutters, welders and more.
