Plastics Technician

• Dayshift- 7:30am-4:00pm
• Permanent position

About the role

You'll be working as a part of a technical team to support Production to maintain and improve our current moulding processes.  Introducing new mould tools (capacity, new products & NZ/MX transfers). An important part of the role is to share your knowledge and guide other team members, as well as being self-motivated to keep your skills up to date.This is a great opportunity to really contribute to the success of our business. You'll work with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Engineering teams. 

About you:

• Ideally 4-5 years' experience in plastic injection moulding.
• Experience on Extrusion Process is an advantage 
• Experience on Silicone Moulding.
• Positive can-do attitude.Strong with communication and documentation.
• Ability to build strong relationships.Strong problem-solving skills.
• Preferably you would have a trade level qualification Tool Making/Plastic Processing/Plastics Engineering, or equivalent.Experience in a manufacturing or other complex environment is an advantage.
