About the role
To support our continued growth and expanding international reach, this position will be responsible for providing support to daily operations, whilst being able to adapt to our changing business environment. To be effective in this role, you will draw on your knowledge of freight management, operational process improvement, and experience processing day to day.
Your key deliverables will include weekly global deployment process, freight booking, freight tracking and responding the queries to logistics related topics (HTS code request, freight quote request, etc) from the wide range of stakeholders. Other tasks include providing additional support on freight forwarder KPI management, shipping document preparation, communication with global sale offices and participating in the future capacity planning and freight mode optimization of our global distribution network. You will be working closely with the planners and the DC team to ensure efficient operations.

To be successful in this role, you will be a driven self-starter with the ability to utilise your excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will also
- Have ideally gained your experience in a large, complex, international logistics environment
- Have at least 5 years’ experience working in logistics or freight forwarding industry.
- Have experience in seafreight, airfreight, trucking and 3PL service.
- Have knowledge of customs tariff system, MPI standard and other related government regulations for all cross-border activities. Have experience working with Customs, MPI and other government agencies.
- Experience in supporting freight RFQ, tracking, validate and improve freight cost for the business
- Experience working in ERP or WMS systems for logistics operations
- Be able to demonstrate strong statistical, analytical and mathematical skills as well as reconciliation and problem-solving skills.
Although not essential, it would be beneficial if you have logistics related degree or equivalent education background.
