About the Opportunity

Due to an international transfer, we have a unique opportunity for someone to join our tight knit International Sales Legal Team based at our head office in East Tamaki, Auckland.  This is a diverse role that covers a wide portfolio of legal work in a truly global context.

 

Reporting to our Head of Legal – International Sales, the successful candidate will:

  • Provide legal support to our international sales team based in New Zealand as well our overseas offices.

  • Research legal issues and draft, review and negotiate documents.

  • Establish legal entities in overseas markets.

  • Manage ongoing corporate governance and compliance requirements for our overseas legal entities.

  • Provide training to our sales teams on company policies and procedures and relevant legal developments.

In this role you can expect to have a seat at the table with senior management and key stakeholders as a valued member of the international sales team.

About you

Our ideal candidate be interested in a role with an international focus and be keen to make connections with our global team. In support of this, the role may require some future international travel on occasion.

 

Key skills and experience:

  • 3 - 6 years' post-admission experience in corporate or commercial law from a recognised law firm.

  • Must be New Zealand Qualified with a strong academic record.

  • Customer focused attitude who can demonstrate a pro-active, pragmatic and commercial approach to legal issues.

  • Team player capable of forming constructive relationships within a business setting.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
