Learning & Development Advisor

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Learning and Development Advisor to join our high-performing L&D team. This is an exciting opportunity for a learning practitioner who thrives in an evolving environment and is passionate about delivering impactful learning solutions with a digital edge.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Lead end-to-end learning projects—from analysis and conceptualisation through to design, development, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to identify learning needs and deliver tailored solutions that drive performance and capability.
  • Design and develop holistic solutions that include a range of learning modalities like eLearning, workshops, performance support tools, and blended learning experiences.
  • Apply evidence-informed learning principles and human-centred design to create engaging, effective learning experiences.
  • Champion digital literacy by integrating digital tools and platforms into learning solutions and supporting the development of digital capabilities across the organisation.

 

What You’ll Bring

 

  • At least 4 years’ experience in learning development and instructional design, including needs analysis and solution design.
  • A genuine passion for learning and development, a strong growth mindset, and a forward-thinking approach to the evolving L&D landscape.
  • Curious about emerging trends and committed to building capability that drives real impact.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, facilitation and coaching.
  • Strong written and visual communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead organisation-wide learning initiatives from start to finish.
  • Experience working in collaborative L&D environments, where partnership and shared thinking lead to stronger learning outcomes and organisational impact.
  • Background in eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate etc ) and digital learning solutions
  • Ability to work with data and apply insights to improve learning outcomes.
  • A continuous improvement mind set and approach, combined with a commitment to understand root cases, ensuring learning interventions are required and effective.
  • A tertiary qualification in education or a related discipline is preferred.
