The opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Investor Relations, you will assist in creating two-way communication between the company and the financial community, and provide market, competitor and financial analysis to senior leaders within the business. You will interact with research analysts and institutional and retail shareholders in relation to the company’s performance and growth opportunities.
Your duties
- Improve visibility and profile of the company with both Australasian and international investors.
- Provide business, financial, shareholder and market intelligence to senior leaders within the business.
- Assist with the coordination of investor roadshows, investor briefing days and the annual shareholders’ meeting.
- Assist with the preparation of effective shareholder communications, investor materials and annual and interim reports.
What you need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have:
- A tertiary qualification in finance, economics, commerce, or related discipline.
- An understanding of New Zealand and Australian capital markets, in addition to broader global financial market themes.
- Financial modelling skills, and previous experience in a corporate environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A willingness and ability to travel internationally on occasion.
Your ability to learn about our business, problem solve and have great attention to detail is also crucial for the role.
