About the role
In this role as an Inwards Goods Quality Control Inspector - RAC, you will be responsible for the accurate and reliable verification of externally supplied raw materials, to ensure it conforms to specification and standards.
This is a hands-on role in a warehousing environment involving some lifting and working with precision measuring tools, statistical tables, control charts, technical drawings and inspection procedures as well as leading and/or actively participating in continuous improvement projects to ensure our product is of the best quality.
We are looking for someone we can develop within our quality organisation. Ideally you will be a recent graduate with a qualification in Engineering, Science or similar and have an understanding of technical drawings and specifications. If you have some years of working experience in a similar field will be a plus.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelors or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Science or similar desired
- Self-driven with excellent communication skills
- Basic knowledge in math and stats
- Have used precision measuring equipment's (Caliper, Micrometer, etc…)
- Have an understanding of technical drawings and specifications
- Previous experience using statistical software (Minitab or Matlab) is desirable
- Experience using Excel and Microsoft Office general package
- Previous experience in Quality Control/Assurance in a similar regulated industry is a plus
