Health & Wellbeing Receptionist

Join a team of good people doing good work with intent. People like you, who care to make a difference.

About The Role

Are you looking for a busy but rewarding customer-facing position that can offer variety and challenge?

Based at the busy onsite clinic in the O’Hare building, the Health & Wellbeing Receptionist is a front-desk role and acts as the first point of contact for visitors.

The role also offers support to the Occupational Health team with a variety of administrative tasks to ensure that the clinic can operate effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities will include tasks such as answering and directing calls, scheduling appointments using our ‘Medtech Evolution’ system, sending communications to patients including Pre-Employment Health Questionnaires (PHQs), reporting on incidents, updating the risk register, supporting Occupational Health Services with the writing of documents, updating Excel spreadsheets, raising purchase orders, assisting with project administration and lodging service tickets with facilities and IT as required.

This is a Monday to Friday role with flexibility around start and finish times.

About You

To be able to provide a high standard of care and understanding to patients and visitors, you’ll be a warm and engaging individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to respect patient privacy and confidentiality of information.

To work effectively and efficiently, you’ll be a hands-on team player, with a positive and proactive attitude, strong time-management and organisational skills, and an ability to apply initiative and learn quickly. You’ll be able to work at pace and employ a good level of attention to detail in all tasks that you carry out. At times, the clinic can become very busy so it is essential that as the first point of contact to visitors, you can remain calm and composed even when things become frantic.

While previous medical receptionist experience is preferred, it is not necessary for the right candidate as training in ‘Health & Wellbeing’, and the systems we engage with, will be provided. However, you will need to possess a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and other IT systems.
