Your ability to partner with all levels of management along with employees on a variety of issues every day is what will make you successful in this role. Work on projects and add value with commercial HR advice and support.


This role is part of our Group Services HR team, supporting key functional groups including Supply Chain, Finance and HR. 


Our business relies on the Human Resources team to contribute to its success by providing a high level of strategic and operational support across our diverse workforce. Reporting into the Head of Human Resources – Group Services, this role will support our leaders across the full employee life-cycle including employment relations, organisational design and succession planning, performance management and coaching and building capability of our leaders.


We are looking for a strong communicator with an organised approach, along with:

  • 4 to 5 years HR experience in a broad generalist role in a large organisation
  • Success in engaging and influencing stakeholders from diverse backgrounds
  • Drive to improve processes and ways of working
  • Sound technical and professional HR knowledge together with good business and commercial awareness
  • Strong experience with employment relations, including change management and performance management
  • Ability to form relationships at all levels to enable you to partner successfully with our employees, leaders, and your colleagues
  • Working knowledge of NZ employment legislation
  • Ability to deliver outcomes which meet or exceed customer expectations
  • Partner with our specialist Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits and Shared Services teams to deliver high quality and timely advice
