As an Intellectual Property (IP) Engineer you'll work with our product development teams to identify, capture and protect the IP that is critical to Fisher & Paykel Healthcare's continued success. In this role you will work with Product Design Engineers to understand and expand their inventions, and you will collaborate with them on alternate design approaches. This will be your focus, along with collecting experimental data, patent research and technical writing.
As part of your development on this exciting career path you will be exposed to our products and technologies along with training toward registration as a Trans-Tasman Patent Attorney. You will be supported in this development by an experienced IP team.
For this role, you must have either an undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in Mechanical, Mechatronics Electrical or Computer Systems Engineering or an equivalent physical science.
