About the role

We have a fantastic open role for a recent accounting graduate to kick start your career and play an integral role within our finance team. You will experience a corporate environment, develop new skills, make a meaningful contribution to projects and gain excellent commercial insight into how a global business operates.  You will be encouraged to innovate, showcase your abilities and collaborate across various teams.

There will be plenty to get involved in and make your mark whilst contributing to a sustainably growing NZ owned global business that also offers international exposure.  Along the way you'll be given mentorship and support to help you succeed.

 

What are we looking for?

To be successful in this position you will be a motivated person who enjoys working in an international environment, you will have strong business acumen and interest in learning about financial aspects of a manufacturing business.  You will have:

  • Recently graduated with either a Bachelor of Commerce/Business or other relevant degree, eager to learn and be challenged within an accounting environment. The role is currently open so candidates available for an immediate start will be preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Good understanding of accounting principles
  • An interest in developing and improving systems and providing insights through reporting
  • Attention to detail, data analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Proactive team player and customer service skills - able to work successfully in a collaborative environment
  • Accounting qualification prerequisites are an advantage
