About the role

We have a fantastic opportunity for recent accounting or finance graduates to kick start your career and play an integral role within our finance team.  In this role you will be working as a valued member of the Financial Planning and Analysis team to develop reports, to analyse integral data and assist with the business planning and reporting process.

The role offers the opportunity to develop expertise in data analytics which will allow you to liaise with stakeholders and provide guidance and support in accessing and using analytical tools to enhance overall business insights. Having a continuous improvement mindset is crucial as that will enable you to contribute towards improvement projects to refine operational effectiveness.

There will be plenty to get involved in and make your mark whilst contributing to a sustainably growing NZ owned global business that also offers international exposure.

 

Skills and experience

To be successful in this position you will be a motivated person who enjoys working in an international environment, you will have strong business acumen and interest in learning about financial aspects of a manufacturing business.  You will have:

  • Recently graduated with either a Bachelor of Commerce/Business or other relevant degree, eager to learn and be challenged within an accounting environment
  • Proficiency in systems and tools, ie. Microsoft Excel, VBA, Power BI, SQL, Python, etc.
  • An interest in developing and improving systems and providing insights through reporting

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Proactive team player and customer service skills - able to work successfully in a collaborative environment
