Finance Analyst

About the role:

This newly created position presents an exciting opportunity within our growing Finance team. There will be plenty to get involved in and to make your mark, whilst contributing to a sustainably growing NZ owned global business that offers international exposure.

 

Based in our East Tamaki campus and reporting to the General Manager - Finance, this role will partner with product groups, one of our key stakeholders to provide quality insights and analysis of commercial information which in turn would be useful for vital business decision making. Your expertise and knowledge of accounting principles and ERP systems will ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data, supporting key stakeholders.

 

About you:

You will be highly enthusiastic with a growth mind-set, positive attitude, and desire to get things done. The ability to focus and prioritize, coupled with good problem-solving skills, enables you to understand the detail and translate it to the bigger picture. Your ability to build trusted relationships will be key as you proactively identify issues, investigate and provide recommendations that will enhance business performance.

  • 3-5 years of accounting and/or data analysis experience
  • SQL programming experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • General business acumen
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Solid technical skills in Microsoft Power BI (Power Query, DAX),
  • Advanced Excel (Macros, Power Pivots)
