ERM Engineer
Care you use your knowledge for good? Are you a recent graduate with internship experience in maintenance or automation or have 1-3 years’ experience in automated manufacturing? We are looking for a highly talented Equipment Reliability & Maintenance engineer to join our team!
About the opportunity
As an ERM Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high levels of equipment reliability support for our production teams. Your responsibilities will include:
- Review manufacturing and equipment performance data to propose and manage reliability improvement projects.
- Provide daily guidance to Equipment Maintenance Technicians.
- Create and present training materials to up-skill team members.
- Lead root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions.
- Maintain equipment baseline measurements to minimize downtime.
- Ensure relevant spare parts are stocked and maintained.
- Monitor and maintain health and safety standards for equipment operation and maintenance.
About you
To be successful, you will have:
- A tertiary degree in Mechanical, Electronic or Electrical, Electro-Mechanical
- 1-3 years in automated manufacturing or relevant internships.
- Proven skills in repair, maintenance and diagnostics of electromechanical or automated equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, including knowledge of pneumatics, automation systems, and PLC fault‑finding.
- Ability to interpret electrical, pneumatic/hydraulic schematics, and mechanical drawings.
- Competent in PLC hardware/software diagnostics (basic or advanced).
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, Creo, or equivalent CAD software.
- Excellent communication, attention to detail, organisation, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
