Data Analyst - 12 month Fixed Term

We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst with a focus on reporting and data automation to join our Data Centre of Excellence in a 12-month fixed term position. As the central data team, we support ongoing growth in analytics across our global company.
We are centred in ICT with strong connections across the organisation, putting us in a unique position to deliver business impact through analytics.
The Role
In this role, you will explore and develop innovative technologies to automate data and insights delivery. You will have the opportunity to shape impactful solutions that drive meaningful change across the organization. Your work will empower teams to uncover opportunities, streamline decision-making, and unleash the full potential of data analytics, making a tangible difference in how the business operates.
Our Team
We build critical data solutions for the organisation that are scalable and secure with the goal of enabling managed self-service BI. We also provide guidance, training, and support to stakeholders around the business.

Skills and Experience
- Experience delivering analytics on an enterprise data and reporting platform (Power BI strongly preferred; Python preferred; Lakehouse platform exposure a bonus).
- Strong analytical capability with large datasets, using statistics and data visualisation to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Skilled in data storytelling, producing clear, well-designed reports and dashboards that support decision-making.
- Experience building maintainable, scalable data products with attention to reliability, performance, and documentation.
- Familiar with CI/CD and lifecycle management practices for analytics/data products.
- Tertiary qualification in statistics, econometrics, computer science, or a related field preferred (or equivalent practical experience).
