Cloud Engineer - Informatics

We have an opportunity for a Cloud Engineer to join our team.

We'll expect you to have:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Azure cloud experience - 2 - 3 years of experience in implementing, supporting, administering, and monitoring Azure IaaS, PaaS, SaaS environments
- Experience with implementing and maintaining logging and monitoring systems
- AKS or Kubernetes experience in implementing, supporting, administering, and monitoring containerized environments
- Strong knowledge of virtual machines, compute, storage, network components, including backup, monitoring and DR environment requirements
- Strong knowledge in network design incl. CIDR, VPN, WAF, DNS
- An understanding of vulnerabilities and security in cloud environments
- Excellent fault-finding skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- It's great, but not required to have:
- Experience with maintaining on-prem and cloud-based Splunk instances including ingestion, search and dashboards
- Understanding of source control systems such as Azure DevOps or Git
