About the opportunity
In this position, you’ll play a crucial role in the product development process by providing expert insights and technical support. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting polysomnographic studies on participants with sleep and chronic respiratory conditions.
- Collaborating with the clinical research team and the product development engineers testing new medical devices.
- Analysing sleep study data to provide feedback on device performance.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in sleep medicine and good clinical practice.
- Assisting in clinical trials and research projects related to nocturnal non-invasive ventilation.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all studies and tests conducted.
During development we utilise our onsite sleep laboratory to evaluate some of our innovative product solutions. We are seeking casual staff skilled in nocturnal polysomnography to support short term clinical research projects in the lab.
You have
- Current registration with the Clinical Physiologist’s Registration Board.
- Proven experience in conducting nocturnal polysomnographic studies.
- Strong understanding of sleep disorders and related medical conditions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
