Clinical Research Scientist

We have a fantastic new opportunity for a Clinical Research Scientist to join the myAirvo Clinical team. This exciting new position will give you the opportunity to help drive our clinical research programme on nasal high flow therapy products for home and hospital applications. Working within a truly dynamic team, this is a chance to really progress your career within a large New Zealand medical device company that truly makes a difference to patient care and outcomes.  
 

The role

You will work with our R&D team to help create and synthesis clinical evidence for our devices. In this role you will:

  • Setup and manage sponsored and investigator-led clinical studies
  • Conduct literature searches and clinical evaluations for regulatory submissions
  • Provide clinical input into product development
  • Support with clinical training and education
  • Manage relationships with external clinicians

 

Skills and Experience

We are looking for a person with:

  • Relevant science, engineering or clinical degree
  • Experience conducting literature reviews
  • Good technical writing ability
  • A high attention to detail
  • Works well both individually and within a team

 

It would be advantageous if you have:

  • Knowledge of the respiratory physiology and anatomy
  • Medical device experience
  • Exposure to clinical research
  • Training in GCP
