We have an exciting opportunity within our Business Excellence team to partner with and deliver exceptional value to our stakeholders and wider business.  This is a fulltime, permanent position (40-hour week) based on site, at our Auckland office in Highbrook – East Tamaki.

About you:

 

We are looking for an energetic individual with excellent interpersonal skills, who can influence effectively at all levels, while taking people on our continuous improvement journey.   

 

Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, you will partner with business leaders, at General Management level, where you will get a high-level of understanding of the global business. You will also have the skills to communicate with the operators and core team who work within our manufacturing operations environment. 

 

A flexible team player who will support the business with Lean Tools for Continuous Improvement, working in a cross functional team environment that is focused on delivering value to the business.  

 
You will have a great attitude and aptitude to learn and share our techniques to drive efficiency and productivity to our customers.  
  

 

 

Essential skills and experience:  

 

  • 10+ years as a continuous improvement (lean) practitioner with tangible business outcomes / results  
  • Exceptional coaching skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams   
  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience in a large-scale manufacturing and operations environment  
  • Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to work across functions in a large organisation  
  • Strong people development and change management skills  
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset  
  • Ability to focus on the business outcomes and customer value
