Accounts Payable Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead our NZ Accounts Payable function.
About the role
As the Accounts Payable Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our finance operations service team, overseeing end-to-end accounts payable processes for our global supplier base across multiple regions and currencies. You’ll lead the implementation of scalable system improvements, ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in every transaction.
Role responsibilities

Mentor and drive performance in our Accounts Payable team

Manage accounts payable function responsibilities, including vendor onboarding, invoice processing, and payment execution

Drive continuous improvement and standardisation across function, including optimisation initiatives including the implementation of workflow and automation tools

Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and internal controls

Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless accounts payable operations and alignment with business objectives
What we are looking for:

7+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, with at least 4 years in a leadership role

Computer skill in ERP systems (SAP preferred), hands on experience with accounts payable automation tools (OCR technologies) and MS office – including application of online software.

Proven experience managing global AP operations in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment

Application of bank transfer software (including offshore/multicurrency payments).

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Analytical mindset with a passion for process improvement
