The Opportunity
The successful candidate will be responsible for activities related to the development, implementation and maintenance of the company's privacy policies and programs. This role will work closely with a number of business functions, including Risk, Legal, ICT and HR, with touch-points across the broader business.


This role is broad and varied, with no two days being the same.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with the internal customers with privacy and data handling responsibilities in the organisation, to help set strategy and develop global and regional approaches to complex privacy matters involving systems, processes and data handling activities.
  • Initiates, facilitates and promotes activities to foster data privacy awareness within the organisation including training to the business.
  • Maintaining current knowledge of applicable global data privacy and security laws and accreditation standards.

  • Excellent analytical & problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrable ability to build trust and work collaboratively across an organization, including at the senior leadership team level
  • Excellent project management skills and capacity to manage competing priorities
  • Ability to work both autonomously and in a team
  • Experience with advising on Privacy & Data Protection, including a working knowledge of the EU General Data Protection Regulation and other global privacy regulations (Preferred not essential!)
