About the role
As a Maintenance Team Leader (Night Shift 11:40 PM - 07:40 AM), you will be leading the Maintenance Technician Team and working closely with stakeholders from different levels.
Your responsibilities include leading and managing day-to-day breakdown support, preventative maintenance, calibration, and repair of F&P operations production equipment. You will also be required to attend the stakeholders meetings in dealing with various Operations support matters.
Skills and Experience;
- A NZ trade qualification, Diploma, or Degree in a Mechanical/Electro-Mechanical/Electrical Engineering fields.
- Ideally 8 years’ experience in diagnostic & maintenance of automated electromechanical equipment in a high mix high volume manufacturing environment.
- A proven track record in people management skills or able to demonstrate the ability in managing a diversified team to achieve the Operations Stakeholders expectations.
- Ability to interpret general electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics and mechanical specifications and Knowledge in working with PLC's for fault-finding purposes
- Skills in machining, welding and Solidworks or equivalent experience will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of Lean approach and a believer in continuous improvement.
- The ability to work under pressure, planning and prioritising workloads
- Great communication skills and the ability to work unsupervised.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
