Maintain Work Ops - Maintenance Spare Part Storeperson - Day Shift
About the role
As a Maintain Work Operator (MWOP) for Maintenance HMW Spare Parts Store, you will assist the Team Leader and Group Team Leader in managing the day-to-day HMW business. The key scope of the role is to provide efficient equipment spare parts services and communication to Maintenance Technicians
As a MWOP, you will assist the Team Leader in setting up a Plant-wide Equipment spare parts management system and ensure the approved inventory level is accurately maintained and available when required for equipment sustenance. You will also provide coaching, training, and development for the Store persons to ensure HMW Store is in compliance with the HS&W regulations at all times.
Skills and Experience;
- A tertiary qualification with a diploma or a degree in business or technical discipline is preferred.
- Must have technical/store Inventory management-related certificates/diploma, must be technically inclined. Ability to coach, manage, and mentor store persons.
- Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
- A logical and practical approach to problem-solving with a strong customer focus mindset
- Outstanding communication skills and a team player with the ability to work unsupervised in each time frame.
- Attention to detail, good Organizational skills, and the ability to plan and prioritize workloads.
- A customer service-orientated mentality is an absolute requirement.
- Have worked in a Manufacturing environment and have had experience in operating or maintaining production equipment spare parts store management.
